VA Mobile: Overpayment Content Updates
Hey folks! This article is all about VA Mobile Overpayment Content Updates. We're diving into some necessary adjustments to the content related to overpayments within the VA Mobile app. As you know, ensuring the information is accurate and user-friendly is super important, so let's get into the details of the changes. These content updates are essential for a smoother user experience.
The Lowdown on Overpayment Content Adjustments
Since the engineers jumped the gun a bit and started working on the overpay/copay features before the design content was officially approved, we've got some content adjustments to make for Overpayments specifically. It's like, we're doing a bit of a content refresh to align with the latest design directions and make sure everything's crystal clear for our users. These updates are all about clarity and ease of use.
Here’s a breakdown of the areas that need these content tweaks:
Home Tiles
First up, we've got the Home tiles. The content here is being updated to say "Overpayments" instead of anything else. Also, the Home tiles will only list the amount of overpayments to keep it simple and straightforward.
Payments Tab
Next, let’s talk about the Payments tab. Here, we're removing some headings and reordering the tiles to make the layout more intuitive. The goal is to make it easier for users to find the information they need without any extra clutter. This change is designed to improve the flow of information for the user.
Overpayment Debts List
On the Overpayment debts list page, the title is getting an update. It's all about making sure the page title accurately reflects what's being displayed. The aim is to make navigation as simple as possible. This ensures users immediately understand what they are looking at.
Overpayment Debt Detail
For the Overpayment debt detail page, we're updating the title and breadcrumb. We're also adjusting the spacing to improve readability. These changes ensure the user experience is polished and user-friendly.
Overpayment: Pay Online
In the Overpayment: Pay online section, we're updating the breadcrumbs and term definitions. This includes dynamic content like file numbers and receivable IDs. We're also updating the content for paying by mail, including dynamic content such as file numbers and receivable IDs. These changes make sure all the necessary information is available in the right places. We want to make it easy for veterans to understand their options and take action.
Overpayment: Request Help
The Overpayment: Request help section is also getting some love. We're updating the breadcrumb, content, and layout. Please note that the link will open in the browser and might omit some content. This is mainly because the content can differ based on various factors.
Dispute Debt
Finally, the Dispute debt section is getting some adjustments, with updates to the breadcrumb and content. Our aim is to ensure the user has the most current information. The updates are essential for a smooth and streamlined user experience.
Important Note: Timing and Coordination
Important: Ideally, these content updates shouldn't happen until after the designs are reviewed by Core Mobile on October 22nd. Also, we need sign-off from the FM team regarding the Overpayment title direction. We want to make sure everyone is on the same page and that these updates align with the overall project goals.
Additional Info and Resources
For those who want to dive deeper, check out the Figma designs. There, you'll find the current prototype. This is where all the content changes are implemented.
